Pakar Hukum Tata Negara, Jimly Assidiqie, mengaku ada keanehan dalam penanganan kasus dugaan suap yang dilakukan oleh Presiden PKS Lutfhi Hasan Ishaaq.
“Saya merasa ada yang aneh tapi kita tidak bisa tidak percaya KPK karena selama ini kita percaya KPK. Tapi kok begini apa karena ini PKS yah?,” kata Jimly di gedung DPR RI Jakarta, Kamis (31/1/2013).
Dia mengatakan orang jadi menduga-duga kok dalam waktu hitungan menit (Presiden PKS) sudah jadi tersangka dan dijemput KPK. “Sedangkan Anas tidak diapa-apain,” kata Jimly.
Demikian pula, Jimly mengatakan Priyo Budi Santoso Wakil Ketua DPR dari Golkar katanya sudah masuk dalam dakwaan tapi tidak diapa-apain oleh KPK. “Jadi sebaiknya diungkap saja semua, jadi orang tidak curiga,” kata Jimly.
Dikatakan para penegak hukum harusnya punya kearifan soal seperti ini. ” Yah itu hukum bukan untuk hukum jadi apa namanya, kita mau perbaiki keadaan dan mau perbaiki negara bukan mau bikin kacau negara dan bikin masalah,” kata Jimly.
